The vision for the Sculpture Garden at Enter Art Fair 2026 was to present prominent Danish and international artists whose works surprised, challenged, and invited the audience to participate. Curated by Head Art Adviser, Sofie Dirks Gottlieb, the Sculpture Garden featured works that heightened bodily awareness and encouraged new encounters between art, space, and viewer – from an oversized painting by Johanne Rude, to an inflatable fruit bowl by other circle and a gleaming, mythological aluminium sculpture by Miles Greenberg.
A central ambition for this year’s Sculpture Garden was to bring the works to life through a series of performances, activating the garden as a dynamic artistic landscape. The sculptures were not simply objects to move around, but became part of actions and situations in which bodies, sound, movement, and the audience helped shape the experience.

Throughout the fair, Sisters Hope created an extensive site-specific performance installation, transforming the Sculpture Garden into their temporary home. Through a series of rituals and inviting actions, the audience was actively involved and given the opportunity to experience the garden as a living and poetic space.
This merging of sculpture, performance, and audience participation turned the Sculpture Garden into a gathering place for actions, encounters, and narratives. Rather than existing solely as objects within the space, the works were activated through bodies, voices, and shared experiences, continuously shifting and transforming their meaning.
The Sculpture Garden at Enter Art Fair 2026 thus became a place where the boundaries between artist and audience, artwork and event, began to dissolve – where art was not only observed, but felt, leaving a physical impression long after the visit.

The Sculpture Garden will continue to be a defining part of Enter Art Fair’s experience beyond the halls – a place where scale, space and landscape meet. Future editions will continue to explore new formats for engaging with outdoor art – whether through artist interventions, guided perspectives or digital access.
Enter Sculpture Garden, Lokomotivværkstedet, 27-30 August 2026.
