Founded in 2023 by David Utzon-Frank and Lasse F. Petersen, the gallery brings together decades of experience and expertise in art, design, and ethnographic objects.

Born into a family of collectors and art dealers with a legacy dating back to the early twentieth century, David Utzon-Frank developed a discerning eye for art from an early age. In 2002, he opened his first gallery, specializing in tribal art and Danish design. For more than two decades, David has been a valued member of the specialist team at Bruun Rasmussen Auctioneers. His expertise in tribal art, Danish modern art, and design has earned him a strong reputation among collectors and within the international art market.

As the third generation of one of Denmark’s leading antiques businesses, Aabenraa Antikvitetshandel, Lasse F. Petersen has inherited a lifelong passion for art and connoisseurship. Today, he is recognized as one of the country’s leading gallerists in the field of Classical Modernism. In addition to fine art, the gallery also deals in design, ceramics, and selected works of exceptional quality, maintaining an uncompromising commitment to excellence in every field.
