Established in 2018 by art patron and collector Frank Schönau, the gallery is co-directed by art expert Linda Pyke. Together, they bring curatorial depth and strategic foresight to the gallery’s leadership—advising collectors on acquisitions, collection development, and long-term cultural value.

THK Gallery collaborates with both established and emerging artists from across Africa in dialogue with international contemporaries, cultivating a dynamic program that celebrates plurality and challenges conventional boundaries.
