The gallery represents a mid-career generation of contemporary artists and fosters interdisciplinary dialogue by providing space for exhibitions, projects, artists, and curators.

In 2015, Quimera launched its own publishing imprint, Q·Editora, producing bilingual publications to accompany its exhibitions. In 2016, it expanded with Qubo, an alternative exhibition space dedicated to site-specific projects.

Since its founding, the gallery has opened new markets and introduced Argentine artists to previously unexplored international contexts. Over the years, it has placed works by several of its artists in major international collections.

Quimera is a member of Meridiano and actively contributes to the development of the local contemporary art scene.
