Having not completely lost its medieval charm it is the perfect combination of old and new. Everything is easily reachable; especially by bike, which is the preferred mode of transportation for the Danes. Explore the different Neighborhoods; from edgy Nørrebro to upcoming Nordhavn.

Restaurant Silo  As far as the eye can see. That’s the view you get from the top of The Silo in Copenhagen’s northern harbour area, where Restaurant Silo is located on the 17th floor. The building itself is a pretty impressive piece of architecture that also houses some of the capital’s most exclusive apartments. The beautiful view of the city and harbour isn’t reserved for the residents though: Restaurant Silo lets everyone enjoy the picturesque backdrop with their dinner thanks to its grandiose, panoramic windows. You might even be able to spot your hotel from up there.

Sushi Anaba – Sushi Anaba is a traditional Japanese Edomae sushi restaurant in Copenhagen. They serve traditional Japanese sushi with focus on scandinavian seafood, Japanese rice and wasabi.

Harbour Pool – Sandkaj Havnebad is an official bathing zone in the new Nordhavn district, where the promenade, cafes and bathers create a beautiful beach atmosphere. Sandkaj bathing zone is open year-round and forms part of the promenade of the new district, the Aarhus Street Quarter in Nordhavn. In the summer it is a favorite place to soak up the sun and swim in the harbor.

Konditaget Lüders – The Lüders roof is a 2,400 m2 public space with facilities for training, living and playing. The facilities are located on the roof of the Lüders P-house on Helsinkigade in the Aarhus street quarter at a height of 24 meters. There is public access to Konditaget from 7am – 10pm.

Christiania – the famous Freetown of Copenhagen is a controversial area loved by many, but also a site of strong debate, especially because of the locals’ relaxed view on hash. It was founded in 1971 on an abandoned military base, and a lot of people built their homes themselves giving the area an extremely interesting architectural feel. And you will find a variety of eco-restaurants, workshops, galleries and music venues offering all sorts of cultural experiences.

The Coffee Collective  roastery and coffee bar concept, Coffee Collective was one of the first in a large number of independent coffee roasters to care about sustainability. Still one of the best cups of coffees served, the beans are not only traded directly from the farmer, they have been roasted in the classic Scandinavian style; light.

Manfreds  In 2010, Noma descendants Christian F. Puglisi and Kim Rossen, wanted to cater for the locals with laid-back quality food. The result was Manfreds; the first natural wine bar in Copenhagen. The tatar became an instant classic, making Manfreds (probably) the world’s only veggie-focused restaurant famous for its raw meat.

Fiskebaren – “The Fish Bar” is all about fish and shellfish. It is about fresh, healthy, delicious food. About fine wine and a great atmosphere. In the old meatpacking district, you find this gem, which has been a Copenhagen favorite since 2010.

Central Café (Also know as “The World’s Smallest Coffee Bar”)  This tiny café is a neighborhood favorite. Tivoli  The enchanting garden and 175-year-old amusement park located in central Copenhagen offers rides, games, musicals, ballet and major concerts.

Nimb  in 1909, in a Moorish-inspired palace in Tivoli, Nimb originally opened as a “Bazaar”. Today, you can enjoy a number of great eateries as well as the hotel’s newly opened rooftop.
